Greetings from the Park,

        Wow, what a warm weekend we had here in Shubenacadie!  The sun shone and temperatures soared!  Visitors were able to beat the heat in the Wetland Centre and learn about some of the endangered species in Nova Scotia.  Did you know that more than 200 species are at risk in our province?  Learn more at the Wetland Centre.

        We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our visitors, Clifford Paul and Claudia Covalciuc, who joined us on the weekend to talk about the Cape Breton Moose and the American Marten.  We gained a lot from our time with Clifford and Claudia.  Hopefully they will return next summer to share their knowledge and experience with a wider audience.
